*NEW* Training Club

The Atta Pup! Training Club is a new program offered as an alternative to class. Held in the training center at various times, we have two options - Coaching for those looking for periodic guidance or a place to practice and Teaching for those looking for clear and continuous instruction (like a class.)

New members are required to attend a human-only orientation before their dog's first visit. In this orientation, we discuss our methods and the "hows" and "whys" of what we do. Following the orientation, members may visit the club as it suits their schedules. Open times for the week vary and will be emailed out in the mornings or at the beginning of each week. Members are welcome to request times that work better for their schedule. We will accommodate as we can.

The Training Club allows members more flexibility in their schedules, allows for unexpected absences, and offers a more customized curriculum. *Please note: We do not cover guard, protection, or attack training.*

Should your puppy attend classes before they've

completed their vaccinations?

The first several months of a puppy's life are a critical period for learning about the world. The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior states that, "puppies can start socialization classes as early as 7-8 weeks of age,"

and that "...it should be the standard of care for puppies to receive socialization before they are fully vaccinated."

We require that your puppy receive at least the first round of their distemper vaccine or display an adequate titer result before their first class and that they receive their rabies vaccine or display adequate titer at the age recommended by their veterinarian.

Read the AVSAB position statement below and discuss what's best

for your puppy with your veterinarian.
